Along with the Wotzit truck (come on fellers surely someone knows what it is) I found this S 180. It is fitted with an ex-army 28 ft trailer.
The truck has only done 47,000 miles! Always shedded and in great order. I imagine it is a pretty rare vehicle, particularly in running condition like this. Really interesting front spring helpers. Owner says it can sit on 90kph all day long. No4 Eaton two speed
Forgot to mention he is asking $6,500 for the whole outfit including the two very good grain bins on the trailer (will not separate). Probably could get him down a bit.

Just looking at the position of that distributor type injector pump, would that make it one on the "P6" engines, forerunner to the 6/354?? Also, gearbox looks like it could be a T17 4 speed??

The 6354 did not come out until 1960 so I suppose it replaced the original petrol motor. I think the P6 was only 85hp - not enough for this truck one would imagine.

The coil springs on the back of the leaf springs act like shock absorbers. "Corio" was one of the brands available.

Overnite
If one make was "Corio" it makes you wonder if they were an International product made at their Geelong plant. The owner of the truck says the previous (original) owner told him they were fitted from new as an option offered by International.
Model T Fords had those coils on the ends of the springs as a very popular after market addition made by quite a lot of different manufacturers. They do make a difference.

Worked where two ASD 182 Inter tippers were used as mine/quarry trucks, they were powered by Perkins R6s, they were great trucks, very
reliable and great to drive.
I'm sure they would be better still when fitted with a 6354.
