.
I bumped into Triangle Transport in the early 1960 s,.......I was with Petersham Transport for a short while and this Italian gentleman used to call in
occasionally to see Fred Howe (bossman of Petersham Trnspt). They appeared to be sort of mates and maybe Fred used to line up some work for him.
Don Campitelli was his name, the man behind Triangle Transport. .How did Triangle get its name......I surmise the logo with Sydney , Perth , Darwin,
might have had some thing to do with it, as , that is a fair sort of triangle when you look at it,...........
Any way Don used to front up in his W model KW along with his wife (or partner ) occasionally ,and when he did, Fred would send someone out for a leg of lamb
and veges etc, and Dons wife would cook up a bonza baked dinner for all. I think Fred really looked forward to Dons arrival.
At that time i am not sure where Triangles yard was located, but there is still an old address listed at Hill Rd Hombush Bay area. ....as well as a few addresses
Australia wide........I feel pretty sure that Don Campitelli would have passed on by now, but, it looks like Triangle Transport still operates up north as a family
business that has been operating for 55 years or so.............

That would almost have to be the same Ivan Farley who had a spell at Camerons Tpt, just about when Lindsay the Fox took them over??
