OMG Meetings & Events was created by Speedy
The idea of this is to post upcoming meetings and events of the Ovens, Murray & Goulburn sub-branch. Feel free to message me with any feedback. Now to get the ball rolling...

The next meeting will take place on Saturday 14th of March at The Old Town & Country Tavern in Wangaratta (also known as the showboat) at 5pm.

Just a reminder that the meeting is this Saturday at 5pm in Wangaratta,

Coming up;
The 115th traditional Easter Sports will once again fill the Molyullah Recreation Reserve with activities for families and friends from near and far.

The popularity of this unique day has continued to grow as there are few events like it surviving in our busy world.

Proceeds are used to develop a long term plan for the recently refurbished Molyullah Hall and Grounds.

Activities will include:
Free rides on the Merry-go-Round and Train
Fun activities - face painting, jumping castle and races
Woodchop
Surf Board Riding Competition
Lots of stalls - plants, jumble and others
Spinning Wheel
Refeshments and meals
Vintage Tractor pull
Many interesting static displays
Ferguson Tractor Display
$500 prize money to be won at the truck display

1st weekend in May is the Beechworth Drive back in Time, I'll try and collect some more details on it soon.

Hcvc members have been offered a chance to have a look in "Mervs" shed in Albury. The Australian Truck Drivers Memorial committee has organised an open day of the late Merv Mackintoshs collection in Albury. The collection is quite extensive and impressive and is not to be missed.

The OMG branch is running a road run on the 22.8.2015 from Wodonga over to Albury to look at the collection. We will be departing from the Bunnings Carpark in Wodonga (Take the Bandiana/Tallanagatta exit off the Hume Highway) at 10.00am and down the Murray Valley highway to Bonegilla, were we will stop off and have a look at the Old Block 19 Migrant camp at Bonegilla, and then set sail up to the Hume weir wall, and down into Albury and onto Mervs Shed.

Apologies for not getting this up sooner
