G'day all just listening to reports of the fires up in NSW on the radio this morning and hope that all our members up that way or family and friends are all safe and well.

Where have you been? I've been up at Bilpin/Mt Lagoon and end of last week up Putty Rd at Tinda Creek.
Our Cat 9 had a tree fall on it last Wed, both of us OK, poor old 'cruiser a bit battered though, but still working on the fire ground.

We spent most of our time in and around Wilton, Bargo & Picton road.

Gotta stay safe & keep looking up

Ironically it didnt happen on the fireground! On the "end of the world day" we had 4 x NSW F & R trucks turn up at our station to be on standby. I was showing their team leader where local water sources were and wind gust toppled tree just as we were passing. We had only just returned to station and they were retasked to Mt Wilson, so truck damaged in vain.
