Your better to die trying than live on your knees begging
Vietnam Veterans day was created by Mrsmackpaul
18th August is Vietnam Veterans day
This year marks 50 years since Australia began it's involvement in Vietnam, I think it may of been the following year that any of our armed forces were deployed but open to correction
Also 25 years since the welcoming home parade for Vietnam Veterans organized by them, I think they got sick of waiting for the government to do their job
I dont follow mainstream media so I dunno if it even rates a mention, was listening to the local radio yesterday and a interview with Normie Rowe, very interesting

Thank you for posting that Paul.
The dates and other stats are spoken of in the commentary.
Hard to believe, 35 years in October since the parade. Memorable day for us.
Some coverage on the evening news today.
Good to see the attendance, many well in their senior years now.
Memorial walk at Seymour well worth an hour or so if you’re around there.
Lest We Forget.

And a big thanks to those who served, in all theatres, in all conflicts.
I served on the old ferry, HMAS Sydney for a short while during that time and was lucky enough not be on it for any of het trips to Vietnam.
