Meeting Forum Members

Today Dee n I while travelling down the south coast of NSW had tge best experience in meeting wee allis who met us in his beautiful town then drove us to his home to meet his lovely wife. 
We were made to feel so welcomed and it felt like we knew each other for such a long time.
Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. It was our pleasure to meet you both.

You both deserve nothing less,  that's exactly what you did for me when I passed through the centre of the universe. 

Should be more of it, meetings are rare, not unexpected though considering the distances we all live apart. 

The odd visitor would be the incentive needed at times. 

Bfor still progresses at a snails pace . . .  

Cobba, the pleasure was all ours. As you said, we have been forum members on this and other sites for years and have even done trades for parts, but to finally meet up was just like getting together with old friends. You are welcome back anytime.

As PDU says, there should be more of it. Our home has the welcome mat out for any of you, should you be in our area and have the time and inclination to call in. We'de love to meet you.

On that note the welcome mat is always out at Glen Innes.

Forum members are always welcome to visit me and a mate or two at Bass near Phillip Island in Victoria.  There is a huge and I mean huge, shed with a workshop area and lots of mostly unrestored trucks and several restored cars.  The kettle is always on for a cuppa. there are usually biscuits as well.
The shed is usually but not always open Monday to Friday, so let us know the day or more before you are coming and somebody will be there to welcome you and your "significant other" and show you around. As the Personal Message feature is no longer working on this forum, phone me on 0427 095 984.

I have met a few of the members over the years and so far they are good bunch

I rarely get to or go to any shows, got lots of excuses but they are only excuses if Im honest

Not having the personal message thing anymore will slow down the meet and great

Even the Caterpillar club that I was heavily involved with in QLD had mainly great lile minded people, I used to make it to more shows in QLD and it was a 1400 km one way drive

I do need to make more of a effort to get to shows and the like
