Street legal – with a little poetic license, just need to know the rules
Took one year to build and was fun as hell to drive, turning heads all day long.

Sold it to a kitcar dealer in Holland, who are now advertising it. I have nothing to do with the sale.

I am stunned, speechless and all the rest of that stuff

Very very cool project Colin

So did you make a mold off the plaster and then make the body or just use made the body straight off the plaster shape

Very cool, oh hang on I have already said that

Totally impressed by this project, thanks for sharing with us

Colin, that is an amazing construction. I have not been interested in modified vehicles since I was in my early twenties but I was fascinated by this build the first time you put it up here and am fascinated again now. What an imaginative and well finished vehicle it is.
It is no wonder you had to sell it before emigrating because even if you could register it here, I don't think it would be pleasant to drive on a day when temperatures are in their thirties or forties.

I am envious of your design and building talents.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Thanks Guys, I know it's to to everyone's taste, but honestly I built it for me.

Mrsmacpaul - Just made the body straight off the plaster 'buck' had no intention of making multiple bodies. Didn't think anyone would be interested in buying one.
Plus, given the compound curves & shape, would have required several separate sections.

Morris - Actually been into various custom type cars for years, had a car on the cover of USA Lowrider magazine plus others.
We have actually been in Australia since 2007, had to go back to the UK in 2018 as my mother-in-law was dying from cancer - runs in their family unfortunately.
So took the opportunity to build this, using an interesting UK rule referred to as 'Rebody' - where as long as you don't change: chassis, engine, suspension. gearbox etc. you can put any body on a vehicle.
Agreed, totally useless here in Australia.

It was all built by myself, self taught, not afraid to have a go, and very much on the cheap, my total investment was around $10,000.
One of the first times I have actually made a profit when selling a car!!
