oldgmc,

They are 1937/1938 Dodge/Fargo cabs. If you look at my thread about the restoration of a 1937 ME31 30cwt Dodge, you will be able to read the story about them.

Geoff.

Just fantastic saving all the old iron from the elements!
I was on a property some months back and saw two old XP falcons a ute and sdn just pushed up with the tractor in the creek half buried and burnt out!!
a real shame to someone needing parts.
Hows the the benz coming along?

A bit more progress on the Benz. All the cross members have been re-fitted including a new one we made to replace one we were not happy with. ( The one between the front spring hangers of the rear spring assembly)

Hi Paul,

Yes, it is a pretty smart bearing carrier. The shaft coming out the back of it turns faster than the shaft going into the front of it.

geoffa,
Just looking at that setup I couldn't help but thinking, what a candidate for a 2,3 or even 4 speed auxilliary box, Rockwell, Spicer or something!
Think of the possibilities!
