International AA Cabs was created by Oilman
I have a mate with an AA110 that he wants to restore. The cab is badly rusted and he is looking at options. Can anyone tell me the differences between the different models (110, 120, 130, 160, 180 etc) with regards to the cabs (basic structure, bonnets, guards, doors, dash, floor etc)?

My AA-Line parts books shows that the cab and guards are all the same. I would have thought maybe the smaller models had smaller wheel arches, but the book doesn't say so.
The only differences i can see listed are -
-inner guards 110-148/160-182
-engine dust shields 110-148/160-182
-fuel tank 110-148 = 15 gallon /160-182 = 17.5 gallon
-110 has a different rear vision mirror assembly if fitted with HBS transmission

My book is #1 027 311 R1, dated 30-9-58

Hope this is of some help. Brett.

Interestingly, it lists the grille insert (early type grille/pre chrome mesh grille) as being available as plain (painted) or chrome. I never knew a chrome version of the early grille was available.

My mate ended up buying another truck as it has a good cab. It seems to be a bitza as the cab is off an AA180 but it is on a chassis with 5 stud wheels and found out today it has a ASD220 motor. My mate was hoping to use the motor as it runs pretty well, but I think the ASD220 was from a earlier model with very low (6.5:1) compression ratio. The compression is even at 60psi across all cylinders). The correct motor is an ABD240 but I can't find any specs on line. Does anyone have full specs on each of these motors for comparison (comp ratio, horsepower etc).

If that's taken hot at WOT, then that's low. See what I can find in the book tonight.
