Great idea there Colin HD.
For us other Bedford Owners would you mind putting up the Manufacturer & Part# of the paper element you bought as mine looks exactly the same too.
I've knocked mine over as well, fortunately it was on the bench, but still messy!

All the best Colin, hope things settle down for you now
cheers Pierre

Sorry Pierre, I don’t have an actual part number.
It’s just a standard Holden 202 filter.
I roughly cut a pie slice out of the old one to fit.
I’ll do a neater job when I’m ready to complete the install.
Will glue the ends together with some rubber adhesive.

Year, it’s a bit rough, but I’m a cheapskate and build on a low budget.

Thank you Lang and others
I will go for a paper element now. Hopefully I can find one that will fit without modification. I doubt that I will use the truck enough to need to replace the paper filter but you never know.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

Hi Morris, WIX Filters website offers a very detailed search by size feature. I reckon you would be able to find something to suit.

Some very s l o w progress on the Bedford.
But progress is progress!

Being the cheap one that I am, couldn’t resist another go at casting the lenses.

Added some food colouring instead of paint.

Forgot to turn the mould, so messed up one of the corners

Clear came out nice, but fancied the white.

Just poured another one tonight

If you go with the 3 new seats they will have to be engineered and passed I think, especially the way they are bolted in place. I remeember many moons back fitting original LJ80 Suzuki seats into an after market fibreglass jeep body. Main thing that had to happen wa the use of 100mm square 6mm plates top and bottom of the glass body.
