Well here she is boys, my new pride and joy!

Yes, she does need some work, but she's not a bad base, with the only rust being in the front of the bonnet. There's a few dings in the cab and panels but nothing too bad.
Mechanically she's running a later J series 214 six, with the full heard of 100 stampeding Clydesdales bursting at the gate. The engine and drive line are in very good order; she runs like a champ. Out the back lays a 4.7:1 highway diff for good top end.
The brake master has blown and the wheel cylinders are seized. She also needs tyres all 'round to go on the 16" wheels.
The seats are a bit ripped and daggy and all the rubber seals on the doors and glass are shot. She needs a full re-wire, but she's all there...well mostly. Anyone got a front bumper and hub caps????

Hi Trucksyd,

I'm still undecided on color, but leaning towards Black with cream pins and signage, or cream with black pins and signage or (gasp) clear over steel with cream pins and signage. It's going to be a promo vehicle for our shop so needs to draw attention without being over the top if you know what I mean?

Cheers,
Sammy.

Nice one, Sammy. Good to see the dogs approve too.

Ask the question of ACW Bedford down here in Melbourne. They have a good network that might supplement what you can get off the Qld truck clubs.

...g'day sammygt .. you have a really nice old girl to restore and good to see that there is bugger all rust in her except for the bonnet....

...that's good about the cab, but the flip side is she must've boiled plenty of times for the bonnet to have that issue!!......
