What a great story Cunnin. It's always nice to see someones dreams and hard work come to fruition. The combined efforts of the special people on this site really restore your faith in mankind. A very big pat on the back to all who helped you achieve your goal Cunnin. I reckon you'll have to have surgery to remove that smile.
Good luck with the resto.

Hey Cam, Glenn (my workshop manager) is a GM fan from way back and I let him take it about an hour south of Sydney yesterday to pick that pan up. When he got back he came in and asked me if we had a pick
I asked why he needed it, he said to help make my truck sound like a GM

It's a bit quiet Swishy, really needs a hole saw running through that muffler. LOL.

4" holesaw and a long 1/2" drive extension on the rattle gun will do it.

Great story there Cunning , Im trying to picture what slogan you may paint on the old girl ? perhaps " fortune favours the brave " or even " whaysai " [ work hard and you shall achieve it ] which was written on all of H.D.Hahn trucks and also their property and is still written on the new HC fleet. I just thought it was fitting to your determination to locate and secure a truck that meant a lot to you Bruce and without the help of all our beer drinking, story telling colleagues it may have been a different story . Good work fellars and we look forward to chapter 2 . Cheers Rob
