bout 1970 give or take a decade LOL
we were offered may B a Canadian built Kenworth Brute
a 1 off beast for Au
but never eventuated
the thort twaz there ... to replace the KW 'S' models wen they B came xtinct

I still see mc alease (spelling?) working 1 of these old beasts. Yellow and white big banger pulling a float. Always makes me smile when I see her cruising and earning a $$$$

would be one of the first 501's I woulda thought, 500's before that weren't they? be about the same time as the 601s 401s etc came out

Yeah C500s came out in the mid 80s ..... And the name Brute was only used in the US and was for a certain C500 model ...not all of them ;)

the first Brute would be ross pardington's first green one, the brochure pictures had it with the exhaust behind the sleeper.
