John,

This is the same seller as the Leyland at Lightning Ridge.

I am going there this weekend and will take some photos and report on the forum.

Here are the photos of the Foden. Not a wood cab but mid fifties export cab. No owner on site but reported as having a waterpump problem but otherwise a good jigger. Looked quite OK to me on a walk around but I did not give it a detailed inspection.

It is not at Lightning Ridge but a more remote opal field about 70km west. I was told there is a truck operator who works to the coast from the area.

Doesn't get much better! What engine is fitted?

That's a reasonable price if the Foden is sound ... if no one jumps at this, how about a syndicate?

Cheers!

Dave,

I would love to own it. I had an airfield refueling tanker of the same model.

Unfortunately with these Fodens (but I think this tipper might have the high speed diffs) you check your speed with a calendar and I would be an old (er) man when I got back to Brisbane!
