An AB160........the ABs had proper CV joints in the front axle ,the C &D lines had ordinary universals ,and consequently had a 1/2mile turning circle .

Probably Sililar to the original poster, I'm looking at using a AB / C / D 1610 4x4 as a base for a HD tourer.
I'd go single wheels for the off road-ish work and I do not need the GVM of the duals.
1) Does anybody know the size of the single wheels 6, 7, 8 x 20?
2) Were they a factory option or put on by some other entity?
I now see from

If the vehicle came with something as an option, it's easier for the engineer to approve.
