by the way, how's the overseas operation going?

Swishy on the float pictured above it looks the back axle is detachable how does the suspension work on the back axle as how is it load sharing if it is detachable I might have this all ass about just thats what it looks like

so th@ trailer can B a 2,3,or 4 axle by take n the nuther axle off the long deck trailer up above
years gone by u could always get a good stable walking beams suspension for 2 axles
but nothing desirable on tri
so we have two detach axles on airbag n U jist dial up a desired weight on wheels
the front 2 axles on walking beam is stable n the air bag to add weight to the detach rear axle

Go easy on my mate Swishy as the light of day filters through and grey matter begins to rejuvenate.
The Volvo with a snout powered by a mighty Cummins has some GRUNT not to mention, Air con, a comfortable quite working environment where you can hear something.
Hang on that's it, not only has the light of day filtered through is he listening also.
Only a matter of time now for a cab over V bus to take up residence in the Beamish fleet.

Just to keep the pot simmering, my two bobs worth. McColls of Geelong inherited an N series Volvo with the 525 Cummins and an 18 speed Bushranger specced up for B-double work on the tankers. Drove it quite a few miles, had the best of both worlds, plenty of grunt as well as extremely comfortable. Went equally as well as the late model Transtar with the 525 Cummins and 20 speed Spicer on comparable work.
