Norling spec ACCO, brand new in 1983. 6V92 (fitted with T line badges)..



Same truck as above, taken in 2006. Now fitted with tipper and working in Melbourne.

See the 'rusty' step cab ACCO pic you posted further back in this topic - is one of the 1950's with the joey box lever on the outside of the drivers seat.

My Acco, 1830A, 358 Neuss which I turbo charged, it was my main truck for quite a few years, started work on the farm, then went on to contract work, carting rocks, sand, gravel and grain, most times carrying 24 tonnes, 10 on the truck, 14 on the trailer, it is fairly flat around here I might add. For a Neuss, it did well, only one broken crankshaft.

they even made ACCO's for Bugly (although if you want to be technically correct some of these are really AACOs)

Here's the Blackwater ACCOA 1910F (392 V8 petrol, bogie drive, 5 x 3 trans) with an auto Valiant motor chain-driving the agitator. 8-)
