Keep the old paint on it looks great

I would have voted old paint also, but then I see some rust spots starting there, so ... maybe it is time

ok i will leave the old paint for now. i will do a polish and paint the chassis and wheels. got the head back today and did somemore cleaning through the week. also i have straightend the roof (see pics on how we did it) droped the seat off to be retrimed. going to try and get the head on tonight i will keep you posted

Inter nutz, mate the old girl looks really good, the ceiling came out pretty good too, nothing like a bit of inventiveness to cure the problem, well done. The cylinder head looks the goods also, she'll wonder what hit her when you get it all back together, good on you. Cheers Tim

Got the head back on and got the old bird running today she runs ok but very smokey. Only ran it for a minute as I haven't hooked up the water yet. Hopefully after a good long run the smoke will settle down

got the old girl running well now (bit smokey) and the engine all painted up. the seat has been redone and inside tidyed up with a new mat in.
