Got a nice surprise from Jim Hurley the other day who kindly sent me through the original sales invoice for my Kenworth. It was sold to AA (Tiny) Cooper 49 years ago today. He also sent through information from the a local historical book talking about the original owner and the trucks he purchased prior to this one. Tiny also named it Barbara. Interesting name for a truck.
I'm sure the old girl looks a little different now than 49 yrs ago. Surprisingly it still has all the original running gear as per the invoice, but is missing one of the 76 gallon fuel tanks.
Happy Birthday Barbara
