My ol man was workshop foreman at Freighter's when they used to be at Seaton in SA... I'm thinking the Commander series of trailers with modular bolt on suspension was the first of the factory offered Tri's around '73-74.

I think they took off bigtime about 76 . I worked for a mob in lansvale nsw and we converted heaps of bogie trailers into tri's .
