The first 15 for KAA and the first 8 for Comet had the Spiraflow mufflers

Yeah......
That tape of the Ghost choofin along the Putty road was allright to hear.
Dunno how many copies there were . but one would have thought there would have been
more than one.
There was a copy in the so called Driver Trainin Room at Brunker Rd Chullora.
Any get to gethers there would mostly end up with playin the tape.....plus .......if anyone
wanted, you could grab it & give it a bash......just to keep the home fires burnin.
As i recall, the recorder was set up with 3 mikes, 1 near the exhaust.....1 on top of the box ( to
get the gear change racket) & the other,, some where in the cab (i think, but not sure.)
Then the gun operator at the time , just really stoked it up ,got into it & flogged the daylights
out of the old Ghost.
One really wonders where all the old TNT records etc ended up.
..................Billy..................
I CAME INTO THIS WORLD WITH NOTHING & STILL HAVE MOST OF IT.........................
I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

Is there any truth to the rumour that there was a film made or is this it? Apparently a film crew had a camera strapped to the cab/pan roof of a ghost for some sought of documentary? I just can't recall where I read about it...

Ok .... Here is what I have found so far.....
.... Darlo taped himself (sound only) going through the Putty .... Waiting to locate that tape
John Watt was recruited by ABC as an advisor when they filmed a movie called Linehaul which I believe featured a ghost and was loosely based on overnighters ..... ABC have the only copy and at this current time will not release it for viewing .... Even for research purposes .... Although I haven't exhausted all my avenues there yet
And I am currently (along with a small group) working with another tape recording of an ex ghost taken in 76/77 that we are hoping to add current vision to ..... Fingers crossed :
I am only aware of these 3 recordings/films so far .... There may be others lurking in someone's tape collection
