I'm no expert but sure looks like a Prefect to me.

Can't imagine there would have been too many sold and even fewer that would have survived this long.

That makes sense. Morris like their wooden bodied Travellers.

The "Woodie" wagon is a Morris 8, Series Z, which is the commercial (ute, van, woodie) version of the Series E car, 1939 and again after the war from 1948 and 1949. It has "bug eye" headlights mounted on the front mudguards ("wings" if you are English) whereas the Series E had them let into the guards, in similar fashion to Volkswagons.

I spent Easter at the National Rally of all the Aust. Morris Registers and checked with the Morris Oxford guru. Series M.O. Oxford had the cast alloy "honeycomb" looking grill from 1949, as on the photos on this thread. In 1953, the grill changed to a more open style with an extra horizontal bar. In the UK, this was called the "Phase 2" but the grille was the only change. Phase 2 does not appear to have been used as a name outside Great Britain.

I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!

I remember my Dad having an Oxford Woody but have never seen another. And no it certainly wasn't a minor.

This would have been around 1956-8.
