Hi all, Just giving you plenty of time to prepare to come to the 2014 Clarendon Classic Machinery Rally Sept 20/21 at Hawkesbury Showground (Western Sydney NSW). It has been getting bigger every year and all classic machinery is welcome. Flyer below for the public. It is free entry for exhibitors to attend, and there will be a rego form to complete like last year but that'll come later.

The early notice is to let anyone know ASAP of our 3 themes for 2014. All machines are welcome like all the Tractors, and the Macks and Kenworths that come etc but be great to try have as many machines as possible on our themes. I mean, not often Dodge Brothers has 100th anniversary or that Deutz turns 150. See you there. Regards, Stephen

Be great to have a chance for British car and motorcycle clubs to come along on the weekend. maybe make it a Saturday display, or a Sunday one, if not the whole weekend. The organisers happy either way, as long as they know so the space can be planned. Looks like being an even bigger rally than it was last year, when the total number of Trucks on display was a massive 270.
See ya there, Stephen

That's great Rod. All Clubs are welcome to plan a trip to Clarendon. be great to also get as many Dodge Bros Trucks and cars there as we can. 1914 was when the Dodge Brothers started making vehicles. Registration forms available on the website of the Sydney Antique Machinery Club

Good news, there will be a Steam train at the Clarendon Classic Machinery Rally on the Saturday, in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of Richmond Station. Don't forget, it's free for exhibitors to attend the Rally. It's on both days of the weekend. Steam train is just Saturday and tickets to ride on it will be on sale by the train organsation. Up to them. I'll update everyone when we know more.
It will be a great Rally and it's getting bigger.
Stephen

Even better news Steve, the steam train will be running Saturday and Sunday the kids are going to love it, you can ride it between Riverstone and Richmond. There is a lot of trucks nearing the end of there resto's that are going to be there, even if your not bringing your truck come along and have a great weekend with us ,the gates open at 8am on friday to set up. This year there is going to be a lot more classic cars if you have one bring it along free entry for all exhibitors ,if you want to put a trade display on ring Steve for more info . All trucks are welcome, if you want to put a fleet display on there is heaps of room. The remote control trucks are back again this year as well as the free kids rides , the tractor pull will be going all weekend as well as the Saturday night pull in the dark, hard to beat. This year we will have Kenworths from 1930 to 2014 on display hopefully 50 to 60 of them. Hope to see you there
Cheers Chappo

Yes Chappo it is shaping up to be great. Free rally sticker for exhibitors to show you came in 2014. An Update: Steam Trains are from the Lachlan Valley group and when they advertise tickets I will post up the link so you can prepay. Steam trains both days will run Richmond to Mulgrave and back (not Riverstone I'm afraid). People will be able to hop on Train at Clarendon on the trains way to Richmond.
So, who's bringing a Dodge Bros vehicle (or any on the Dodge family). How about Deutz engines (stationary engines and Deutz powered Magirus trucks). There must be a few road going examples ready for September.
Don't forget to download a rally rego form and include money if you want to pay to get the Saturday night Rally dinner. Stephen

Kind Regards
