If its still got the two ring pistons, you will be amazed at the blowby. If you try to remove the pencil injectors ,be very careful not to break the epoxy joint between the tube and body.Likewise when disconnecting the lines.Theres no need to replace the seals on the injectors, just grease them with moly and push into the head.

I struggle to understand why anyone would convert anything to 3208, they are boat anchors and nothing more, the quicker you can get it out, the quicker the pain will stop.

Nice looking dodge there digger, dodge with a cat is certainly different, sure would have been some effort to make it fit in

Yes 600 Dodge I here what you're saying but it was fitted before I got it and has done no work so if it
Isn't broke why fix it??
It has been well engineered and is sound
I will probably only do two to three thousand Klms a year so will leave it alone
had a fleet of cat forklifts years ago loading m/t
Containers and got good service out of 3208

I operated a couple of those 3208's way back when & really have no complaints....

Always wondered about the difference between the DB 30C and my ol' 30D ... now I see it, apart from spark plugs, my 30D had the rocker cover and fuel tank on top and the sump/chassis was at the bottom ... :silly:

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"
