I saw something the other day even IH built planes at Geelong I think it said
We would be screwed if we had a war today as non of these factories are left

We'd be screwed because we would have to ask the guvmnt for permission to shoot, then wait for the reply, then ask the enemy if they objected to us shooting them. When all the enemy would do is shoot first and ask questions later.
