That is just TOO GOOD!

The work that is shown on this website is really good; really, really good - but to be able to see a Before and After like this surely puts it into perspective.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and comments about the photo of my 'new' old AB 180 International truck. My son John did all the welding and spray painting. I was the 'scrounger' chasing up the bits and pieces, like the fuel tanks, the Neptune Trident decals and the right colour paint, the fuel drums and Neptune stencils, the Perkins badge, the FC holden bonnet emblem, the mechanical hand signal arm, an original rear view mirror and arm, the radio aerial, an original rear number plate bracket and tail-light, the number plate, old style metal clearance lights on the cab guard, etc.etc.

Building a new tray and repainting the cab were fairly straight forward restoration things. Another thing was I didn't know there were so many shades of red until I had to decide on one.

We did spend a fair bit of time on the details to try and get it right.

It is not the original truck. I traded it in during 1970 and I don't know what happened to it.
