that would have to make it around a 68 model I think the 2 speed splitter came out towards the start of 68 and and went air split towards the end of 68 or early 69 but Im ay have this totally up the creek but could check for sure if anyone is interested

Roland Assured me that as far as he knew MDs never has twin headlights .
Story ??? I don't know much .Been sitting in a farmers shednorth of Roma for years . Mate spotted it and bought it .Deutz hunters had heard rumors it was there somewhere . One guy actually went from Property to property till he found it .Got to look at it but was too late buying it .
My mate is moving up near here , so dropped it here till he is organised
If he loses interest We hopefully have first option on it .

I remember many moons ago I was talkin to a bloke who used to
be a mechanic at TNT Burrows Rd. I don't know how many Deutz
they had but, the morning ritual (mainly winter I suppose) was
towing them around the block to get them started.
A subby at Liquid Cartage had one ...,he turfed the donk out ,,.
and fitted a 8V53 Jimmy (it sounded like a swarm of bees
comin at you)

AFE had some of these as well as the Mickey mouse ones. I had photos of both types in their heyday on Razorback. Unfortunately I loaned my photos to a person, and they came back two short, and I have just found out that one of the missing photos is of the square fronted one, as I was going to put it up for comparison to the 4 headlight one. Moral to the story. Don't lend anything if you expect to get it back the way you loaned it. Was the MG Jupiter the square fronted one or the Mickey mouse ( sloping bonnet) one?

Kel some Deutz trucks were sold new with those 4 head light fronts on them dunno why or why not maybe just a Aussie thing but old Deutz adds for new trucks have them on some of the trucks
