If you then want to go down further ,drop the button and go back two slots..........

Not too sure about that Werk.. as there is only 4 bearings in the front 1/2 of a Roadranger (2 on each countershaft) I can't see how It would put anymore load on the bearings than being in any other gear. BISTBC

Silly low (As I call It) can be handy if your running out of Momentum at an intersection/roundabout & need to grab a "quick" gear.As you can do It a a bit smoother & quicker than a full compound shift...

Or so I've heard..LOL


Well Seed.... I have heard... That it's to do with the back section more so than the main section.... Really don't know why though as I've seen inside a few over the years....

I don't Know why either, Werk
& every Time I've had one in Bits, was always in Too big of a hurry to get it back out on the Road to sit down & ponder the "secret".....LOL

I've got an Old Holland turntable here, that has 2 handles, Both are on the LHS. Pretty sure Geoffb has the Identical Turn table on his White.
