Try contacting Ken Kafla of the Denver Colorado USA area. I know he has at least one WW1 era Quad.

Whilst the Quad (4wd, 4 wheel steer) truck wasn't the basis of my initial post, I remember seeing 3 strange rolling chassis on a station used as trailers and mobile huts many years ago. I have dug out the photos. I found my notebook from then (c2000) and I had made a note that they were Nash chassis and one had a Veeder hub milage counter.

So who has the mechanicals for a Nash Quad???

A couple of shots of the Winton Jeffery, not sure if it survived the fire.

Bob.

Bob,
I do not know how I got over the hill without ever getting to the top.

Back in mid 1980 I saw a Nash Quad in not bad nick in a shed in Georgetown Qld. I think it may have been Gulf Transport's shed, I remember looking it over and also a large enamel Perdriau Tyre sign out front.

The Georgetown truck is now the Winton truck, as far as I know.
