Unfortunately my brain is now full of holes...…..
I was at St Peters from about late 1960s till early1970s . moving to Lansvale when it opened,
Then moving on in 1979 back to Alltrans Bulk Div...…….I think that was roughly the time frame...…..

I used to be a truck driver,
but i am now not a truck driver ,
on a good day i can remember
that i used to be a truck driver.

Think he learnt the trade in the army in Vietnam.That would have been the time frame that he worked there.Was a good mate of one of the Ghost drivers at Comet Geoff Eastwood,they both served time together inVietnam

You could try picking them one at a time. It reminds me of the old Goon Show radio program (Peter Sellers/ Spike Milligan/Harry Seecombe) where the character had to count a heap of pennies. He started - One penny, two pennies, etc up to about Three Million Pounds, ten shillings and sixpence, then noise of cascading coins. Dead silence for a couple of seconds, and then "one penny, two pennies", etc.
I have my shoulder to the wheel,
my nose to the grindstone,
I've put my best foot forward,
I've put my back into it,
I'm gritting my teeth,

Now I find I can't do any work in this position!
