That's the little known "Leyland Stealth Puppy" model. obviously cloaked in the pics I've seen.

Be it firearms or V8 engines, the question is not "why should you have them?"
, but "who are you to demand that I justify them?"

Here are Greg's photos, I hope! I've never seen a cab like this before, it's certainly not the prettiest thing around.

I don't think it's anything to do with ERF, Swishy; they never had any connection with Leyland. Some ERFs had wraparound windscreens like that, but they were all 2-piece, not 1-piece like that one. Boalloy and Homalloy in the UK both made cabs with wraparound windscreens which were sometimes fitted to Leylands and Albions, but again AFAIK they were all 2-piece ones.

Actually the top part of the cab looks like a Krupp cab, some of them used a windscreen like that. Krupp cabs were fitted to some Atkinsons, but I've never heard of them on a Leyland.

...could she be somewhat cobbled up, and "home made"? There's not a single thing i can see that relates to any particular cab manufacturer or truck producer that stacks up with this one. Even the windscreen looks very foreign to most of the stuff we had out here ?

....possibly a tie up with Guy or Delta ?

Hi everyone thanks for your imput i did some checking myself this afternoon and decided to contact the name that was on the door.
They are still in business and i spoke to the former owner.
The cab is i as Swishy i think suggested is a made up one the truck underneath is an Albion.
The original cab started as a Leyland Octopus owned and operated by GW Allen & son Maitland they apparently saw a cab design for a jet truck! and asked a builder in Adelaide to make a new cab and the result is the one you now see.
The owner put it on when the Albion cab became no good not bad for its time.
Hope this satisfies our curiostity until some thing else crops up.

Regards Greg

Well done Greg on the detective work..
At a guess, I'd say the company that built/adapted the cab was Ansair in Adelaide ..BISTBC..

What are the current owners intentions??
As It definitely deserves to preserved..
