We are another step closer! Got the clutch thrust bearing and clutch fork on gearbox tonight. Had a small drama with the thrust bearing but all good! Finish off the engine mounts in the morning and then fit the gearbox. Tail shaft is booked in for Monday and should be done Tuesday??? Still a bit to do but should make Dubbo truck show.

Swishy, You're doing a good job with the count down but the days are going past faster than ever!

Looks like might have at least a couple of trucks leaving Thursday Morning and meeting at the BP/McDonalds Wallan Nth Hume Freeway at about 7.00am we will then head up towards Shepparton around the by pass and up thru Tocumwall so if anyone else wants to tag along your welcome.

Speaking to Braggsy yesterday and as he will be over this side of town on Wednesday it was decided that we will get away from the BP at about 6.00am just to make the drive up a bit easier.

Doesn't look like we have got many other takers at this stage.

Jon we will see you late Thursday and are keen for the Friday road run.

The show is getting closer and we are getting closer to being ready. I have three engines organised from work to go to the Truck show, plus a K104 Kenworth and a truck driving simulator.

The Dodgey Inter got a RR 10 speed fitted today, still need to sort out the clutch! and floor plate covers. They should be ready to go tomorrow. Need to sort out the centre bearing mount tomorrow as well as tail shaft is booked in for Monday.

As to the Truck Show all is going to plan, I think. Numbers attending appears to be good with a wide variety of vehicles on show.

So get your old bangers out and head out, up, or down to Dubbo!

That's too late for night shift and too early for day shift..
Braggy will be delivering yesterdays freight tomorra....Uncle Reg won't be happy with that!

We are gunna assemble at Truck City at 10.30PM Thursday night and launch it at 11....
Straight through to Ol Bills at the left hander...
Milk coffee and some raisin toast, Line in the book...
Pull into the left at the right hander, for a bit of late brekky...Coupla snags, bitta bacon, cuppla googies...

Then into it......Pickup MelonHead on the way past ..
(Without stopping for a quick yarn or we will be late for Haulin!)
Straight to Dubbo for the road run, and back to Uncle Jons for some fizzys, then Signwrite the Dodgyinter before the big show!

Or...

We could forget all that and stay home and get on the fizzies in the big shed by the fire...

Yep 6am will see the snitzelburger and team27 heading north from the BP Wallan.
Have had contact from Hot Rod Donny who is also heading up Thursday.

Mum and Dad are already at Tocumwall and are planning to arrive in Dubbo on Wednesday
