It could just be the photo, but, that engine fan looks to be on back to front.

Sorry Wee allis, just noticed you have posted the same comment. but I couldn't delete my post, only edit it.

Hi guys,
Yes it appears that in my haste to fit the fan a few weeks ago, I fitted it in what I thought was the right way (as it fitted around the water pump nicely) but having seen the last few eagle eyed comments, I went up to the paddock and checked on the donor truck, only to find that mine was inside out :-(

been rectified now though, so thanks to those who spotted the deliberate mistake :-)
Bluey, I have contacted Dutchy, but he only does the flying A sign. Your truck is a late 50 early 60 model I'm guessing, which is when they changed the bonnet badge, so he's going to look at pricing up a run of just AUSTIN mudflaps in a design similar to my bonnet badge.'

Fill, I'll try and upload a picture of my basic rear guards.

The timber bearers have been removed and stained this week and what a difference some light oiling makes. Its really darken my merbau timber

Hi,
The Lucas lights have the type number stamped near the mounting bracket,
i have some bits but I think the headlights were 7", early trucks had 8".

Hope that works I have lots of pictures, and some info.

Hi Claire, doing a great job there looks great, very impressive & inspirational.
Can you tell me what timber you used for the tray & did you cut these yourself using the old boards as patterns.
What oil stain did you use?
Watching with great interest
cheers
Pierre
