got the mud flaps and some more stainless work done today
also sent the tailshaft back as it was too long :'( :'( so they are going to shorten it 20 mm

Looking very nice. You read my mind though, was thinking it needed a bit of stainless bling under the tanks.

the c line has plates on it and even went for a 5 klms drive today back in the shed now to retension everything and do some more checks for a 50klm drive tomorrow. all went well except for the noise she be toooo loud around 2300rpm and above so ive put another plan in place for next week

Made the same mistake with my Reo, 2 X 3" chimbley's with straight through Lukey type mufflers mounted under the gearbox and a 6V53, you could hear it a kilometre away, luckily they made the same mufflers as baffled so I just swapped them over, still pretty loud now.

They do make 5" outside diameter mufflers that are meant to make it look like you've got straight through's that are chrome so you may get away with useing them if your other plan doesn't come off.

50 klms done she sits on the road great 90ks at 2400rpm all is good except for an oil leak at back of gearbox and the noisey exhausts
