Well thanks guys for all of replys and that answers where he has gone in a round about way .
I would like to get somthing of my chest I think these so called admin people should have good look at themselves as they let certian posts through but The one that gets my blood boiling is that someone is a allowed to hijack a thread {event} being a a HCVC event with another event .

I certainly don't, and in all honesty, they are his reasons and he is quite entitled to pull the pin.

Is there a reason that there has to be a big deal made of it?

There a lots of reasons he could have pulled the pin, why don't you just ask him instead of all the rest of us?

Firstly we should all show our gratitude for all the free time this forum's Administrators and Moderators give.
Secondly it is a disgrace that these people who do all the work maintaining this forum making it available for both the members and general public to enjoy find themselves in a position where they need to defend their work.
This all started because a Member decided to leave the forum and in this case someone who had been a Member for a long time. I can't help but wonder if there would have been the same amount of discussion had the Member been someone who was not as active as the gentleman who has left. As far as I am concerned all Members have the same status and fortunately this forum operates that way yes we are all equal.
There have been some excellent comments that are positive and are well meaning on the other hand there have been some that are damaging.
To the people that are supporting the forum keep up the good work.
What I now wish to say is my opinion only and I do not wish it to reflect on this forum whatsoever.
To those who have gone and then come back with another name only to knock the forum please go and this time please just for me don't come back.
