Wots the go with the door handles
the ol handles were mounted @ top of door panel n the ol swing down type
Wen we got our then new 1972 KW 1/2 truck were told twaz the new version of the lower door recessed handle n the hi floppy handle twaz no more but the earlier pix of KW imported trucks etc had the new V:
Unless the trucks from way back then were in a slight misdemeanor n had new doors fitted

I was under the impression that 001-005 went to NZ..?? & That a couple of them survive ..!!

OK.... The truck is the real deal... Newer doors... Reckon the old ones wore out.... It's had new front panels put on it... Hence the vent on the L/H side for the combo heater.... So the basics are there it's just had a few mods like most have over the years.

001-003 were She'll NZ.... 004 and 005 were PMG (Telecom/Telstra) here in Aus

Kenworth opened their new Australian truck factory at Bayswater, Victoria and from this time onwards all cab over KWs for the N.Z. market were built at Bayswater. This Shell Oil N.Z. K125CR with torsion bar suspension and 10 stud English wheels was one of the first off the Australian production line.
