A Big Thank you Goes out to the Creed Family and the Army of volenteer Helpers That kept the event on track under trying conditions .

Now a bit of the Wings part .
This beautifully restored plane was busy doing joy flights .

One of the Highlights was a fly over by this Mig Jet .

It was the last flight of this great aircraft .

Ianoz,

Question you mention that it was the last flight for the Mig.

Was that in reference to the weekend. Or was it going into static display or something?

If they take off, they always land... some landings are just more controlled than others. No planes ever get stuck up there. ;)

Collector and admirer of ye olde crappe.  I'm interested in researching and collecting old numb

So true Hoarder!

For every take off there has to be at least one landing. However sometimes 1 take off could result in multiple landings! :o

What I was really concerned about was that it sounded like that was the final event/performance/flight ever for that plane which would be a big shame. :(

What I was told Jarrod ,was it had reached the end of its life , and even if it was given a full ground up rebuilt it could never be certified to fly again .. It apparently it going into the hanger and become part of a museum they hope to get up and running .Crying shame really , that it can not continue to fly .. The dragon biplane which i would imagine to be a 1930s machine ,flew joy flights all day.
