How long is an amber light ( or turn arrow) supposed to run for? I reckon a some of them are down to about one second of amber and these are usually at intersections where there is a camera.

If U B a cupla vehicles back from the turn U need 2 B qik with the pedal
coz a nano second with out the detector loop in the turn lane B n activated = yello/amber
modern trucks R slo on the take off n can't keep up with turn traffic az the truck computer iz slo count n itz marbles

I am driving a Japper lately that gets off smartly ( unless uphill ) . Can understand them reducing the length of a cycle to suit traffic conditions but surely the amber time has to remain consistent. Maybe just fine tuning the lights to bring in a few more $
