Wow its looking better with every new picture, great work.
Maybe best way to decide on the colour is paint one black first and then see what it looks like you can always rub it back and re paint it.

lovely work and an absolute credit to all you guys who put yourself through it all
the bonnet gap, to me,will add character.... to how they originally left the factory, as it is amazing what they all got away with, and was accepted....cheers

HI All. Well interior now is ready to be trimmed. Fitted the front guards and apron over the last couple of weekends, have fitted h4 conversion headlamps with park lights also fitted, and will covert original top of guard park lights to indicators. Will all still look original but being practical driving in todays traffic.

What brand are those headlamps, and how did you fit the chrome surround to them (assuming they have new housing)?

Thats a top job. I did the same with my headlights. Where the parkers were, i fitted a little orange LED behind the original lens. Works well.
