It wont just happen over night it takes a good work ethic a understanding wife and lots and lots of clearing sales and lots and lots of must have items that are absolute bargains

Looks like a Dennis in the shed, and 2nd stick suggests pto for fire pump??
Lotsa Bedfords but would those with the 3 rib Chev like cabs be pre-war?

The Dennis was an old firetruck. They used it last harvest. It has 2 plugs per cylinder, one lot magneto the other distributor.

The cabs are pre-war. The same cab was used on Chevrolet, Austin and whoever else Holdens were making bodies for at that time. You can see one on the Oldsmobile truck in the photos.

As i understand...............not many of this particular model was made / sold...............
it was available with three engine options...........
Six cylinder Mack.................V8 Mack...................KT Cummins
This one has a Six cylinder Mack ...........still original donk............(may have had a rebuild or so )
A sister ship belongs to a mate of this bloke............it still has the KT Cummins as sold...and is still
hard at it in the Darwin area................
Unfortunately i didnt have much time for any more info about the truck...............So......
May be , hopefully, i may talk to this bloke again some day.................
