The trailer would match a Scarab as mentioned, but there were also Bedford prime movers factory fitted with the hitch = model OSS. Drop or pick up the trailer without getting out of the cab, all automatic.

That Scammel quick hitch was used by Dairy Farmers in the 60s. I served my apprenticeship opposite their yard in Grose St Parramatta, and would see them come and go all day long. I think they were called something " Horse", but the word before horse eludes me for the moment. (Alziehmers?)

It runs out of Lancefield. It was out and about on Saturday as I saw it backing into the owner's drive as I went to the truck show. Didn't see the owner there but he was probably unloading.
