I can't seem to find my original posts that I started a few years ago hence this new thread.

To start things off Bobsboy wants to know what is under the parcel shelf and the answer is nothing because it is part of the ute tray as shown in the picture below

I have finished the body and chassis and am now prepping for reassembly.
Below is a rear view showing the tail lights etc.

Great looking job Graham. The badge came up a treat. I did come across an AR110 in Botany that had a piece of steel across under the window & the parcel shelf hacked out for extra storage. Bit of a rough job.

Under the parcel shelf is. . . the ute tray.

Food for thought.
I'm collecting ideas for a cab and a half Japanese ute.
(Ideas, the cheapest part of any build.)

My tribute to oldskool, built on a modern platform while maintaining total road worthy and ADR compliance is my vision :D.

Modifying the roof line would not be within my build parameters but I do want that 1/4 window.

Your interior photo's described it perfectly for me.

Thanks for the kind words gents

Couldn't do much today with family Easter functions in full swing but I decided to fully bolt down the chassis and when I started to do this, I noticed that the brake vacuum hose was being crushed by the front mount bolt heads ....bad maths on my part for not allowing for this when I ran the vacuum hose on the top of the chassis rail. To fix the problem I made up some spacers and fitted two per side even though one would have been sufficient

Spacers fitted

Vacuum pipe is no longer crushed
