The strip continues ;)




Just the front and rear axles to come out then off to get sand blasted

Great job v8internut ;) looking forward to seeing the progress and if the strip down is anything to go by the c line should be back on the road in no time.

well done nut only way to go. if u havent got a g box yet see if u can get a 600 series box far better deal,.

Quick update on things, the chassis has been sand blasted and etch primed it will be hit with some high fill primer and rubbed down later in the week so it is ready for its gloss paint. The springs have been sent to get reset and it's all happening in the brake department drums getting machined, new wheel cylinders and linings order and the master cylinder and air booster thingy have been sent for an overhaul. I have also sent a box to the electroplaters for chromeing nice and early as they can take a while!

quick update. after 2 days of cleaning what looked to be evidence of a detroit motor once fitted ;D off the frt axle and 2 cans of oven cleaner it has been etch primed in black


the king pins are like new and feel great so thats a bonus also the front brakes are back and ready to be fitted up

monty drop in any time! greystar i droped the brakes to orange brake and clutch and he relined the shoes and had new wheel cylinders in stock it took 2 days for all that including rekitting the master cylinder and macineing the front drums
here is some more pics the diff got the full bare metal treatment aswell all is in primer at momment and will be finished in 2pac early next week
