Thanks to everyone, both our sons Carl and Howard were on the job today along with the Scammell.
Now we all need to understand when you let a Scammell out of the yard where it has been idling around for the last twelve months, then hook it up to a gross weight of 260 tonnes there is no controlling the beast.
The old girl had to push the trailer up an incline with the steering at 40 + degrees on the trailer, our slightly modified Scammell only comes out once in a while but when it happens I love it.
You can have your Volvo's your Kenworth's and hook one two or three up, but I have my Scammell and I only need to hook one Scammell up, only real trucks smoke up when they are working.
We have now managed to get our third Contractor and just so you don't put a contract out on me they will be restored to as close as we can to original.

Swishy mate.
Every module one row up to six row are all registered gets a bit confusing on the permit applications but we get there.
On this job I think we had 3, 3, 4, 4,and 3 the trailers are being reconfigured at Orange and will return to SA as 10 axles and NSW as 7 axles
Swishy don't you love the Scammell lifting off with that load telling us all I am working like a real truck.

Nothing wrong with burning a bit of Coal, in fact It's good to see In this Day & Age..
"Be who you are and say what you feel...
