It is an SB3. Did you by any chance have a range rover part number or year/model that I should be looking?
i will post some photos once i work out how to do it.
cheers Micca

Sorry mate, it was a long time ago..Early 80's.
Do you have shockers at present?
Use one as a sample at Pedders or similar..
Once the front springs sag, the originals run out of travel and break the bottom mounts off.
I would be surprised if a reasonable dealer couldn't assist you.
They should have an open and closed dimension of a Beddy one.
Don't go too big in the diameter as they hit the springs unless you modify the mount.
That's about all I remember on them bits
chocs
ps
I do recall a 'special' version of that shock was available for Army Range Rovers at the time.
It was a heavier duty unit.
This info was given to me a time of purchase in North Queensland

Bit later model for me, early/mid 60's model in the late 70's. I remember the big "C O M A I R" letters on the dash.
Tried to look up info, but can't find anything - and he lived across the road and parked the busses next door to us.
Alby Taylor on Bribie Island, Q. One driver was "Auntie" Fay Wildman. Play up, and she'd tell your parents!
ASW.

Powerdown is another brand of shock absorber which has a broad spread in it's range. A Beddy that old won't be catalogued so you will need to work from your sample. Likewise the bump stops. Some Bedford parts didn't change with each model so the more recent TK trucks might have used the same parts.
