International d1310 1974 what's it worth? was created by roger ramjet
Hi
My dad has an International D1310 1974 style side ute that's done 99,000 km. It hasn't been modified, still standard, just a paint job about 10 years ago & interior re-appolstered. Thinking of selling but not sure what he could expect. Can you help? He bought it in 1979, it was previously a bright yellow highways department truck! It still running! Cheers

Lots of depends......got some photos? where are you located? how far from RWC is it? How much rust in the cab? 6 or 8? is it the 4WD model? The D1110 and D1310s fetch more than the trucks. Regardless, in my humble opinion, you wont get near $10,000. There are others on here that might advise you better.

G'day Rodger
I paid $3000.00 for mine, in running condition, 4WD, Fire Tanker, With hoses and reels, 2 x Pumps(1 running, 1 will run with a little work). As many have said, Pay what you are happy with. There's allways someone that got a cheaper price, and there's allways someone that paid more. The best price is what your happy with.

Roger.
Have you got any pics for us??
D1310 styleside??? I've never seen a mid size Inter as a styleside (Not saying it doesn't exist). The only stylesides I have ever seen were in 1110's. Maybe possible as a 1210 as well but 1310 was a pretty long wheelbase truck compared to the other smaller trucks and generally as a tray.
Having said that, I have bought 2 C1300's in the past 12 months. 1 14' banana back and 1 dualcab with a shorty tray. Both in better than average condition for there years and either registered or dang close. Both of them cost $4000 each.
I have seen others on Ebay (and still do) for $6 or 7000 over the same time, but they are still there a month later.
I think that says what the buyer is prepared to pay.
As the other guys have said. $3000 for a fireys unit and $5500 for an exceptionally low K 4x4 pretty well sets the price bracket.
As I said, some pics would be good, and I reckon I could find room for another truck if it fits my "runaround to do small jobs" criteria, maybe .

Cobba - Sorry to say .. anytime we say, "I've never seen or heard of anything like that!" .. someone immediately produces the proof it existed!
Both the C1300 and D1300 4x4 were produced with styleside bodies. Here's a page from the 1969 IH catalogue, showing the C1300 4x4 styleside, along with all the other 4x4 models.
There was a light duty 1300 series 4WD, with the single wheel rear axle .. and a Heavy Duty 1300 series 4WD, with the dual-wheel rear axle, fitted with single tyres.

Nice !!,
I had a 1974 D1310 4x4 with heavy duty rims and the same styleside tray, timber floor.
It had a dual range transfer case, 4 speed and 4.88 diffs, the same 281 engine, very bright lime green colour.
