that pic of the front diff.......I cant remember if that looks like an SSHD or not.
Definitely not an SQHD.
(the uni cap does look as though it needs a bit of a nip up)

Out for a drive and saw this

While talking to the blokes at Retriever......
I was told one of the older trucks was an old TNT unit.....So i took a few pics...........
So this is it..................400631










Our good friend Werk, chased the Ch/ no up and came up with the original owner...............
Cameron Haulage of Kempsey....(.No connection with D & E Cameron).............
I now know the truck , having seen it quite often when it came into the Zacuba yard to take bricks back to Kempsey way........
It was a standard sort of spec, Cummins....15 speed R/R (as i recall) ....T Bar rear end etc etc.......
TNT took over Cameron Haulage a year or two after the truck was bought (as i recall)...........
I would say TNT bought Cameron partly because of its brick cartage......as it was ran by Alltrans Bulk Div.....
That meant we (at Zacuba) used to do the occasional runs up there with bricks , bringing anything back that
would fit on the back of the brick truck..........
The retriever unit now is not recogniseable as the old 1973 truck............
TBars gone , big diffs and suspension......bigger box...new front skirt with 7 inch head lights....larger front axle..
and god knows what else.......As i understand, the bloke that did a lot of the work on it....then subbied to Retriever........
then, sold it to them.......and continued to drive for them......
Really, it still looks a top sort of unit..................
( I am hoping that the info contained here passes inspection )

After Alltrans bought Cameron's it became Cameron Alltrans for a while before this truck was numbered KT104 in the TNT Linehaul fleet
