looks similar to an iveco 3470 or 4470

OK its an IVECO cab, but what is the badge on the front and where does it come from ?
I have now found out some more stuff about it.

I know its not exactly an historical truck, but I must say it is to me

Heres what I found out yesterday.
Its an 'URALAZ', in Russia.
It has now become part of IVECO under the name
'IVECO AMT' www.iveco-uralaz.ru/

But when I checked it out on Wiki.. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/UralAZ
I was amazed to find that as late as 1992 they were being made with a KDZ Kustanay engine which was a Deutz Air-Cooled V8 built under licence !
This has lengthened the production use of this engine, in a truck, beyond my previous knowledge.

In 1997 they started to offer Deutz liquid cooled units.

Although this revelation may not excite many people, it does mean that I need to update my website slightly.

It is odd to see IVECO cabs on 8x8 chassis'.

Well its interesting stuff to me anyway

Boags............cheap...........yeah right....bloody stuff is made not 10 kms away from me and it still cost $40 a box. bottle of Jim Beam is only $28
