Old wreck found on farm.

I ride a trials motorcycle, and we hold our events on farms...I like looking at the abandoned stuff around the farms. In New Zealand things left outside deteriorate much faster than in Australia, this one has been there a few years.

A couple of things will pinpoint it pretty quickly, but what about the engine? I know the brand, possibly the family, but not the engine size.

The steering wheel would suggest TK Bedford.
The oil bath air cleaner would suggest leyland possibly a 350 But as they say

Yeah,I thought the steering wheel and coolant tank would be easy to spot...also the mudguard but that's a bit hard to see.I've never seen one of those engines in a TK,and I've worked on hundreds of the damn things.I remember them as a 400,but realise there were different sizes.

another popular repower for the Tk, specially around the Canterbury area was a 200hp Scania. These were often done by Colin Chaston and were quite a good repower

As already said, steering wheel and fat controller off the side of column and the hand brake lever is TK Bedford.

It might be an early Ford, if I recall correctly they had the Injector Lines something like those. But it is a long Time ago and Remembering is a Chore sometimes.
Cheers

It sucks to get old and decrepit !

Don't remember the Leyland 400 having a cross flow head as shows in the photo.
I thought the 400 had both inlet and exhaust manifold on the left side.
My guess is the Bedford diesel.
