After some trailer gates there are always heaps laying around till you want them Or every one thinks they are worth a fortune Any way let me know

On the subject of gates, met a Wettenhaul's subbie in the late 70's on Melb - Syd. He reckoned gates were only for cattle, wouldn't cart anything over 3 foot high and load restraint was cap tarp only. Nice to be able to be so choosy.
We had to carry all the gear as never knew what the next load would be! Fun days. Paul

2X general tarps 30ftx 22ft for memory, Cap for 5ft gates, full cover, curtains to suit gates, cap for steel out of Pt Kembla for GMH in Adelaide, paper rolls pipes, angles for timber, ropes x20, 6 dogs & chains, 10 4x4 bearers, was the gear we had for general cartage.
